Emmeline Brightflame

Emmeline Brightflame is an ordained soror of the Sisterhood of St. Devorah, of the Path of Courage; in other words, she is called upon to leave her convent to hunt monsters, espers, and the like. She is as yet untried, having only recently passed the Three Trials.

Emmeline is not widely known outside the Sisterhood, but she has come into the sight of several important persons, for certain prophecies indicating that she may be the Flamebearer, destined to bring about radical change to the church and the magical world. She is being watched closely by the Canoness of her order, and her dark counterpart Ileana Cosanzeana of the Witches of the Twisted Tower.
